Pronouns in Russian Language - Part I (Personal pronouns)

A personal pronoun can replace a noun in a sentance.

case IYOUHE/IT SHEWEYOUTHEY
Nom. ЯТЫОН/ОНО ОНАМЫВЫОНИ
Gen. менятебяего еёнасвасих
Dat. мнетебеему ейнамвамим
Acc. менятебяего еёнасвасих
Inst. мнойтобойим ейнамивамиими
Prep. (обо) мне(о) тебе(о) нём (о) ней(о) нас(о) вас(о) них

Several remarks:
  • pronounce его as "yevo". Sound 'G' in this case is pronounced as 'V'.
  • if you are using pronouns in all these cases except accusative for ОН/ОНО/ОНА/ОНИ forms after a preposition, add 'н' as a prefix.
  • Russians often use personal pronouns instead possevive pronouns, for example:

У тебя в холодильнике. - In your refrigerator.
